Did you know Capilano Playschool will take children as soon as they turn three years old? Do you have a 4 year old who will be in Kindergarten and would like to help them transition into the program? Capilano Playschool has a few spots left in each class for children 3-4. We offer AM and PM classes, 2 day and 3 day. We have a christian program and a community program, which both teach health and wellness. We teach children to be responsible for themselves and others, encourage healthy eating and physical activity with our Yoga teacher and everyday access to our Gym. Children spend time playing daily to learn how too Cooperative and learning to share with others learn to use coping strategies by expanding their vocabulary and expressing how they feel through words. Children have curricular exposure to math, science, language arts, drama and social studies including recognize, writing and letter sounds in their journals. This helps them begin to recognize shapes, colours, patterns in our world and number concepts.
