Did you know Police now has a regular slot on popular Christchurch community radio station Plains FM? Every month, Constable Phil Goto, Ethnic & Pacific Liaison Officer, presents Canterbury Cultures - a show aimed at migrant communities, but popular with listeners of all backgrounds. The aim is to give people information about police and crime prevention, but also to make Police more approachable for migrant communities, says Phil. Each month Phil interviews a different guest, and so far this year the show has looked at topics including crime prevention, road policing, back to school, family violence and others. Pocasts are available to listen to online - find these at: plainsfm.org.nz/podcasts/programme/archive/canterbury-cultures/ In the latest podcast Phil Goto speaks with Acting Inspector Glenn Nalder about the new Justice Precinct, and to Inspector Al Stewart, Road Policing Manager: plainsfm.org.nz/on-demand/phil-goto-speaks-acting-inspector-glenn-nalder-abo/
