Did you know?: The festive Spring tradition of Easter is heavily derived from the ancient Christian mythology of the Jew prince Yeshuah. According to this beloved middle eastern legend, Yeshuah, mortal virgin-born son of the desert god Lord Yahweh, sacrifices himself to his father by submitting to crucifixion by the Roman Empire. Three days later, Yahweh demonstrates his cosmic powers by resurrecting his only son from the grave! Wow! Prince Yeshuah then remains on Earth for forty days before taking a wingless flight into the atmosphere to rejoin his father Yahweh in their great sky kingdom, Heaven, where he proceeds to rule over his peons as second to the throne, and is granted the gift of immortality. Our traditional Easter eggs represent the empty tomb from the story, and are sometimes painted red to represent Yeshuahs gruesome human blood sacrifice. These fun Easter traditions have been passed down through many generations and adopted into our Western folklore. To this very day, many Westerners still even claim to believe the legends are true, and eagerly await the return of Prince Yeshuah to levatate them into the sky world where they can serve him for eternity. What a fanciful day! Happy Easter everyone!
