Did you know.... There are only a hand full of technical running shoe engineers/designers? Many will work under short term contract and move from brand to brand. I always look for the brands that is spending on R&D to know where the next best shoe is coming from. Ever since Berkshire Hathaway acquired Brooks 8 years ago, they have been hot and heavy on innovation. I Love it! It Irks me till no end when a company rides their name. A common marketing game in the industry is to paint the shoe a pretty color and hype it. The average consumer doesnt know any better until they deal with injuries months down the line.
