Many thanks to Charles Reed for breaking it down for us: CPAC is over and all of the has beens and wannabes had their turn at the podium. As expected, speaker after speaker stayed on script with their bash Obama and Obamacare lines, but beyond the anti-rhetoric, not one damned solution to the problems Americans are facing emerged! Hey guys, start over and let the public know what the GOPs proposals are to address... income inequality and income disparity job creation healthcare for uninsured Americans support for our veterans immigration reform tax reform minimum wage increases equal pay for equal work the working poor and welfare assistance corporate tax subsidies, job exports voter suppression efforts sensible gun control regulations the environment and green energy the systematic erosion of the middle class financial market regulations and reforms and a number of other issues that are troubling us dearly. Since the 2010 elections, you guys have been successful politically by simply saying that you are against Obama and Obamacare, but you have yet to propose any sane solutions to the problems ailing America and Americans. The problems identified above are real and any sane voter wouldnt or shouldnt vote for you just because you dislike Obama...little ryhmes and catchy lines are fine, but informed voters with a vested interest in many of these issues should know where you stand before they cast their vote! Bashing Obama keeps your base enraged and engaged, but that hateful percentage of the ill-informed electorate is not enough to win a national election. And the demented darling of dumb and irrational thoughts closed out the winter meeting by reading from a Dr. Seuss book...bet that was as inspiring and motivational as Ted Cruzs read about Green Eggs and Ham to the US Senate! Listen, I know you people spend quite a bit of time in la-la land, but whats happening in America is not a fairy tale and you all need to get your heads out of your _____ and try to come up with sensible solutions to our problems!
