Did you see the Grateful Dead at Englishtown Raceway on September 3, 1977? If so, Id like to include some of your memories from that day in my new book which will focus on 1977, a pivotal and brilliant year in the bands history. In one chapter of the book, Im going to recreate 9-3-77 in the words of those who were there. Im looking for everything and anything--memories of the road trip, the exodus from Englishtown; how hot it was; how high you were; being in a massive crowd, how the music moved you that day...etc. Ill be taking bits and pieces from your contributions, so writing a well conceived essay isnt necessary. Just jot down any Intriguing memories that pop into your head. If youd like to send an audio file of memories, thas cool too.
