Did you wave hello yesterday to asteroid 2014 HQ124, a relatively new cosmic visitor to our neighborhood? First spotted last April by NASAs NEOWISE mission, HQ124 flew harmlessly past Earth Sunday at a distance of more than 770,000 miles. NASA projections show no threat from the space rock, estimated to be between 800 and 1,300 feet long, through the year 2200.
