Difference between tremor and convulsion _________________________________________ - A tremor is an involuntary, somewhat rhythmic muscular contraction and relaxation involving to-and-fro movements (oscillations or twitching) around a joint. -Convulsion is an involuntary contraction of muscles producing contortion(twist/turn) of the body. -When these convulsion become rhythmic,it is called as seizure. -Now the differentiating points can, *tremors are always around the joint,they can be intentional while convulsions cant be.
