Different empire collapses different ways at different times. Some empires collapse because they couldnt hold the domination they gained due to financial cost attached to maintaining empires. Some collapse because they spend too much on consolidating their empire projects. It is the fact that America has been maintaining more than 150 military bases around the world and only country in our time to spend huge amount of expenditure on military. Studies suggest that America spend more on defense than the next 8 countries combined. In other words, it spends $ 640 Billion dollars. This monster total is obviously higher than combine amount of $604 of eight countries that include rising power China and India. Now we know that the US has been bombing both Iraq and Syria and theyre being done illegally. The recent report about Americas bombing suggests that the U.S. military operations targeting Islamic State militants in Iraq and Syria have already cost taxpayers between $780 and $930 million.
