Dillon Lagano medical update: He received a bicep tendon sheath injection this morning at his appointment at Shands to the upper portion of the muscle. Doc thinks his bicep tendon is causing him more pain/trouble than the torn labrum is. Bicep may be out of the channel that it is supposed to be in. Need to treat bicep tendon first and re-evaluate. Labrum may have been torn all along but tendon is his focus first. Should know more answers in a week after giving the steroid a chance to work its magic. Fingers crossed and hoping to avoid surgery. Thanks for everyones prayers and texts asking about him. Hopefully he will be good as new and able to return to the baseball field in the fall.
