Dim Mak Records Boss man and all round NICE guy Steve Aokis album came out this week. I remember way back when Steve used to host Dim Mak Tuesdays at Cinespace in Hollywood and it was our dream to play there. That was in 2003. Since then, he has gone on to become one of the biggest djs in the world but yet, still, has written back to every email we have ever written and been nothing but supportive of what we are doing. To call him hard working would be a huge understatement. And to say he hasnt worked for what he has would belie his time in the game and what he has done for so many (at the time) emerging artists, from Bloc Party to MSTRKRFT to the current crop. And he doesnt just play bangers. We played only house with him at Mambo in Ibiza last month and hes def down with it. Stay tuned for a remix from us off his album but for now, check it. #neonfuture
