Dinky is our female pup that we have had for over half of our 32 year marriage:..................THIS IS VERY, VERY, VERY SCARY!!!!!!! About 4:00am I awoke abruptly to Dinky SCREAMING IN HEINOUS PAIN!!! I grabbed her, I told her how much I LOVED HER ( over and over again!!! ), I laid beside her and prayed. Lord it looks like this IS IT, I LOVE my Dinky so much! Dont let her hurt, and please, please let her be in Heaven...She calmed down, and I continued to try and comfort her. I put a diaper under her in case she was going to die to catch any drainage from her. On the diaper, I pulled her to where I had been sleeping on the floor. I touched her the rest of the night, just trying to let her know SHE WASNT ALONE!!! My Dinky, our 16+ old pup..........................This morning she was up and alert, went down the 7 or 8 steps on the deck to the yard, came back up by herself, now shes sleeping again, but that is normal for her. Was she dreaming, was it pain, was it something else, I do not know??? But for now, she is ok!!!
