Dinner Day 162 FAITH IS… Growing with tomorrow’s possibilities! “Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.” – JUDE 1:2 The exercise of faith is the very process of growth! So long as we are growing intellectually, emotionally and spiritually, we are still alive and youthful. Life is growth. To stifle growth is to initiate the termination of life. The deceptive spirit of decay, decline and death subtly and seductively enters our human spirit when we gradually and abruptly stop growing. The seed of death is planted in an individual or in an institution when growth is no longer possible. But growth is always possible for the person who is walking the walk of faith! You can grow and discover new insights into yourself if you welcome every problem as a possibility, every obstacle as an opportunity, and every age as a new laboratory experience in understanding the path of human existence! Yes, every phase and condition brings with it a unique possibility for personal growth. Faith spots positive opportunities. Faith welcomes each tomorrow with its pleasure or pain as an invitation to adventure. Where are the opportunities and possibilities for my personal growth that I can work on tomorrow? I can become more merciful! It’s possible for me to be less judgmental and critical! I’ll try – tomorrow. Then I can expect peace and love to really be multiplied in my life – tomorrow!
