Direction gives Sense!!! When the direction is right, we are able to see Nelson Mandela on the rods “Dig 50 ft and you will get oil” said the head priest to the students in the Gurukul. While one student came back late evening saying “I did dig 50 feet sir however, I did not get any Oil”, another came back happy saying “yeh, I have struck oil”. How is this possible? While the first student dug 50 one foot holes putting in the same labour, the other had dug 50 ft deep down which helped him reach his goal. It is not activity but the right action in the proper direction that helps people achieve. Though many do the same work, why some wait for weekend while some wait for Monday was a surprise to me initially. Those waiting for weekend have no direction. Their interests do not match with the work that they do. Their personality, who they are, is not in sync with what they do. Imagine a costly champion race horse asked to pluck coconuts which a baby squirrel can do or say jumping with an umbrella from atop a building as it looks like a parachute? The TIP – it is difficult to be on track in the right direction, unless one has the right Talent + Interest + Personality to do the work. Being on track and maintaining the direction is difficult without the TIP and such people fall in the PIT. To go to Mumbai, you cannot take the NICE road because it is of international standard. You have to take NH7 which will lead you there. Take decisions to keep anchored to directions rather than for comfort.
