Directions to Ebenezer Swamp, Montevallo, for our park day on Friday: From I-65S, take the Shelby Co Airport Road exit 234, go LEFT off the interstate. At the light turn RIGHT onto Co. Rd. 12. Approximately 1.6 miles down 12, turn LEFT onto Co. Rd. 24. Ebenezer Swamp is on your RIGHT. From Hwy 31/119S in Alabaster, go approximately 5 miles down 119 headed toward Montevallo. Turn LEFT onto Co. Rd. 24 and go .8 miles to Ebenezer Swamp. If you need directions from another area, just let me know! Other details: There is a short traill, then a boardwalk to walk through the swamp. It is a great picnic location, and wonderful for viewing birds, insects, and wildlife. Hope you can make it.
