Discipleship Series; 29 June, 2013 (NKJV) Job 1:7, And the LORD said to Satan, "From where do you come?" So Satan answered the LORD and said, "From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it." The Devil or Satan (whatever you choose to call him) is limited in several ways, one of the ways we are considering today is that he is not omnipresent. Meaning, he is not like God; he cannot be at all places at all times; he can only be at one place at a time. Our Bible text categorically explains that to us. God asked Satan, ‘from where do you come?’ His response was, ‘from going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.’ Satan does not have the prowess and wherewithal to be omnipresent, as such he is not directly responsible for all the ills that occur everywhere, he uses his cohorts; spirits (demons) and humans to achieve his purpose. Jehovah, the Almighty is omnipresent, the Bible says God sits in heaven (Joshua 2:11; 2 Chronicle 20:6), but observes, supervises and protect all of His creatures; 2 Chronicles 16:9, For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth... Why would anyone hand his/her life to one who is not always there, when there is Another who is always present? I think it is wisdom to handover your life and affairs to the One who is ever-present. Hebrews 13: 5,… "I will never leave you nor forsake you." Prayer: Jehovah God, continually keep and watch over me and mine, in Jesus’ name. Amen. Have a God-protected Saturday. God bless and be with you. Visit this link to see past articles; groups.yahoo/group/discipleshipseries/
