Disclaimer: I do not participate in any form of gambling my money, including office pools and whatnot. In fact, insurance even makes me suspect, but Im legally required to purchase it, so, I guess Ill deal with it. If I played a game of poker, maybe Id consider playing for chocolate chip cookies. However, I have heard State Police state that Superbowl Office Pools are illegal and you can be arrested for participating. Ok......check and double check. But what about all of these gigs I play that have 50/50 raffles and whatnot?? Arent those also technically gambling because they are a game of chance? (picking names out of a hat) - the whole charity thing aside?
