Discover Goodwill Opens New Donation Center in Tandem with Donor Appreciation Days Discover Goodwill is offering residents the opportunity to stretch their shopping dollars and change lives during its Donor Appreciation Days event, January 29 thru February 2. In conjunction with the week-long event, Discover Goodwill is announcing the recent opening of a new attended donation center in the Walmart Supercenter at Platte and Chelton. Residents donating their gently-used clothing, cookware, furniture and other household items during Donor Appreciation Days will receive an additional 20 percent off their one-time purchase at any Discover Goodwill retail center through February 16. Donations to Discover Goodwill are tax deductible and donation proceeds are invested in employment and life skills training for individuals with disadvantages and disabilities. Discover Goodwill operates more than 20 donation centers throughout southern and western Colorado-offering convenient and fully-staffed drop-off service. The days and hours of operation for all of Discover Goodwills stand-alone donation centers are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Sunday.
