Discovery revealed the landing Rosetta Spacecraft Mission special premiers on dec 12,at 9.pm dont miss to watch More than ten years after its launch into space – on a mission to chase down Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko – the Rosetta spacecraft is finally nearing the next phase of its journey: plant a lander called Philae on the speeding comet. National Geographic Channel cameras have been following this incredible scientific achievement since the beginning of the year. As a team from the European Space Agency attempts a world first: to land a craft onto a speeding comet hundreds of millions of kilometers from Earth and ride the comet as it approaches the sun, National Geographic Channel brings to you a special - Rosetta: The Comet Landing, at 10.30 pm on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 to answer all your curiosity on this outer space mission. The channel will also broadcast online a live stream of the European Space Agency’s video feed from Rosetta to capture the historic moment – from Philae’s initial separation confirmation on-ground to the landing signal being received on Earth. If successful, Rosetta and Philae could help peer into our past and unlock secrets from our very origins. The live stream will start at 12:30 PM IST on November 12, 2014 and will be available all day long on natgeotv/in/comet- catcher-the-rosetta-landing/live-event
