*Discussion* Heres an interesting topic: Concerning both Blacks *and* Native Americans - should there be reparations? Yes or no? Why or why not? This goes beyond the singular scope of cutting a check. Were talking about a would-be multifaceted compensation that somehow addresses some or all of the following issues: Sociopolitical, economic, land (more for the Native Americans), and the needed comprehensive overhaul of overt and more subtle (rather, less talked about, or seldom addressed) judicial and legislative inequality (i.e. - check prison population statistics and the discrepancy of jail time sentencing tendencies among minorities vs Whites). What say you?
