Disease in children triggers panic in Tangmarg MALIK MUKHTAR Tangmarg, April 23: At least eight children studying in government primary school in Lalpora village in Tangmarg complained of fever and rashes and had other unusual symptoms. A team of doctors from primary health centre Kunzar in Baramulla district visited the village today and have started the treatment of the mysterious diseases. All the affected children are in the age group of 5 to 10 years. “They are stable and there is no need to panic. It seems a viral disease, but we are still investigating,” block medical officer, Dr Idrees Ahmad told Sachnews Jammu Kashmir. He said we have sent a report to experts and the results are expected tomorrow.
