Dislikes those who say negative statements simply because they think it is more intelligent to seem blasé and indifferent. There is no honour or elegance in affecting emotions that ridicule even simple joys. We are nuanced, and man is neither all bad or all good. We are naughty and nice. Life is never all this or all that. The world is not all horrible, nor all good, and I do not believe in purgatory or heaven. There is both beauty and love in all things, as well as sadness and change, and I would not want it otherwise. We are like antiques, nicked and damaged, rough and smoothed by time, cherished and abandoned, lost and loved. We belong to each other, whether we like it or not.
