Disney’s Frozen Facing a Copyright Infringement Lawsuit Metro.co.uk (08/04/14) Animator Kerry Wilson is suing Disney over alleged copyright infringement, claiming that the similarities between her 2D computer-animated short The Snowman and a Frozen teaser trailer are no coincidence. Disneys trailer features Olaf the snowman, with Sven the reindeer chasing Olaf’s carrot nose, a scene that Wilson says is similar to one in her short film. The claim could go on to trial if a settlement between Wilson and Disney is not reached.
