Dissolve Cabinet, Msoni tells Sata Political activist Nason Msoni has called for the dissolution of the Patriotic Front cabinet following revelations by embattled Secretary General Wynter Kabimba that they were using inside trading to siphon money from government. Msoni said President Michael Sata had himself passed a vote of no confidence in his cabinet when he said they were failing to defend or articulate government positions at several fora. “We prod and urge President Sata to dissolve his inept corrupt and tribal cabinet. The statement attributed to the Secretary-General of PF Wynter Kabimba that a tribal clique has emerged in the PF government out to enrich itself is a source of serious consternation on the state of governance in the country,” he said. “The revelation that Cabinet Ministers were behind the abuse of state resources who are using inside trading activities and using their own companies to siphon state resources is very serious indictment for any state administration claiming to be fighting corruption. He said although the Anti Corruption Commission had a reputation for being toothless they had an opportunity to follow up the matter. “We hope the do-nothing ACC will take it up from there without waiting for a presidential nod in carrying-out their legitimate state functions,” he said. He said the PF was the most incompetent government on the continent. “Undoubtedly the PF government led by President Sata is the most incompetent regime in Africa. “If you can’t run government don’t steal state resources at least.” he said. “If the collective PF project has failed it is prudent for the President to help Zambians by dissolving Parliament so that we can get a fresh start and give the country some measure of decency and decorum.” Msoni said, “As pointed-out recently by the President himself that his cabinet was failing to respond to the many challenges raised and posed by the opposition, this should in essence give him the necessary impetus and leverage to dissolve the do-nothing Zambian Cabinet which has turned-out to be a big liability on the Zambian tax-payers.” zambiareports/2013/10/01/dissolve-cabinet-msoni-tells-sata/
