Do the names Carl Sagan and Cosmos mean anything to you? I was a teen when this first aired on PBS. I remember watching it week after week with my family and it being really cool stuff. To be honest, I dont remember much of the content, other than Carl using the phrases, ...billions and billions... and on the cosmic calendar of time, were like at Decmeber 31st with less than a day before our sun explodes. Cosmos is back in a new 13 part series. Its written by 2 of the 3 original writers (Carl has passed away). I dont know where theyll go with these episodes, but in the age of realilty TV, this is real science and its important shtuff. Its on Global, Sundays at 9pm....check it out! (They have aired 2 episodes already, which you may be able to catch online)
