Do we really think the Lord is going to bless our nation when we allow the senseless murder of hundreds of innocent babies in the womb every day? When we twist His Word to suit our own lifestyles? Does it ever occur to anyone that the Lord may be allowing the economic stability in our nation to crumble...that He may be allowing the things we take comfort in or idololize crumble-the things we assume we are entitled to...healthcare, retirement savings, the price of milk and gas...Is it possible The Lord may be allowing the persecution of the Church to take place to separate the sheep from the goats? To see who is willing to turn to His Word...to see who is willing to stand on His Word instead of on this sissy-fied, tolerance- based, watered-down, best-life now, psuedo-Christianity? I see all this political bickering on facebook when it isnt politics that is going to save us, folks. Rush Limbaugh doesnt have the answers. Glenn Beck doesnt. Shawn Hannity doesnt. FOX news doesnt. There is a high probability that there is a book somewhere in your home that has all the answers. Our country has a heart problem...a heart-LESS problem. The only thing that can truly change a heart is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My Christian friends...I urge you to further the Gospel before you waste one more breath furthering a political party or political ideal. And please pray the Lord gives us another chance to get it right...because He already has given us enough resources to make sure every human being on this planet has heard His Word.....that every human mouth has been fed....every orphan has a family....and every widow has a caretaker...and we have squandered it away and lived as if it wasnt enough. Lord forgive us.
