Do you coach Gymnastics? Passing this message on for Laura Goncalves Wayland Sports in Richmond, BC is currently looking for qualified and energetic Gymnastics Instructors to help with recreational programs, birthday parties and field-trips. Our gymnastics programs are focused on the FUNdamentals of gymnastics and movement. We are looking to hire 2-3 coaches for the September Session that begins September 10th. We can guarantee up to 25 hours a week including week-end classes and birthday parties. Minimum Qualifications: -Must be an energetic and exciting coach and must be confident communicating with parents and children alike -Must have a passion for working with young children and have a strong personal commitment to the FUNdamentals of gymnastics movement. -Must be a minimum of 17 years old -Previous experience in a child care or sport setting. -Must have previous experience either as a Gymnastics Instructor or as a Gymnast/and or Cheerleader. Preference given to applicants that have the qualifications below: -At least 1 year (3 terms) working at a previous gymnastics club. -Level 1 NCCP or Gymnastics Foundations certified -Active Start or Preschool Gymnastics certificate (asset) -Trampoline certification (asset) -Respect in Sport -- can be completed on-line at respectinsport/index5.html -Standard First Aid (asset) -Criminal Record check will be required -Previous child care or sport setting experience. Flexible Week-day evenings, but if committed to Saturdays/and or Sunday they must commit for the whole day, 9:45-6:00 pm. Starting rates of $11/hou, depending on qualifications. Training provided.
