Do you feel bored, sad or depressed? Do you feel like you cant continue anymore? Do you feel stressed, depressed or angry? Do you want to just snap out of it? Try the following: Go outside of the house (backyard or front yard). Take a deep breath, breath slowly, feel the molecules of air going through your respiratory system, and say Alhamdulillah. Some people need ventilator to keep breathing. Now walk few steps. Walk slowly, notice the rhythmic motion of your legs, the coordination between your muscles. Say Alhamdulillah. Many people are bed ridden. Some have been confined to their beds for years. Now look back at your home. Stare at it well. Look at the different rooms. Look at the lights. Say Alhamdulillah. You have a shelter while many dont. Think of all homeless people who sleep on the streets. They are happy to find cover when it rains or is cold. Now feel your stomach, may be you are full because you just had breakfast, may be you are thinking about lunch about the delicious food. Say Alhamdulillah. Many people have to look through garbage cans to find some leftover. Or they may have to beg from multiple people to collect the money to buy one. Now raise your hands and say: O Allah, allow me to be grateful. O Allah make me thankful. O Allah give me the strength to thank you for all the bounties, blessings and favours that you have gifted me. O Allah forgive me for being so ungrateful.
