Do you find yourself wondering if a particular dish you see on Food Network or on the internet is healthy or will help towards weight loss? You may be surprised that even if a recipe is considered healthy it may not give you the weight loss results that you are wanting and actually may be hindering you from your goals. We had this amazing dish tonight that was created by a spouse of one of our coachs clients and our older girls loved it, but our 3 year old will have to give it another try. :) You keep feeding your children healthy food and they will grow to like it!!! Continuing to model HEALTH for our children or grandchildren whether they are 3, 13 or 23 will benefit them so much, and we will raise our future generation to be more health conscious and not be dragged down with the many health problems that are brought on by being overweight or obese. Rick’s Smoky noodles and seafood Use any combination of Lobster, shrimp, and fish. Seafood to equal 14 oz. cooked 1, 8 oz. pack of Shirataki noodles 2 cups spinach 1 cup chopped tomatoes 2 tsp garlic olive oil 2 tsp lemon or lime juice ¼ tsp salt 1 tbsp onion diced 1 tsp smoked paprika 1 tbsp dried parsley or ¼ cup fresh parsley Chop tomatoes and wash spinach prior starting to cook. Cut seafood into bite sized portions, meanwhile preheat skillet with oil over med.-high heat. Thoroughly rinse shirataki noodles. Toss onions into skillet cook for 3-5 minutes until soft. Add seafood, tomatoes, juice, paprika, and parsley if using dried. (if using fresh parsley add with noodles) Cook for approx 5 minutes. Add spinach and toss until wilted. Add noodles and salt toss until noodles are warm and serve. Makes 2 complete lean and greens
