Do you have a marketing strategy? Instead of wishing for your business to take off, here are some tips so you can make it happen! 1. Know Your Audience. Who are you targeting? Single women? Moms? Men? Once you pinpoint your customer base youll be able to focus on their needs and what appeals to them in order to attract and keep their attention. Find out where they like to spend most of their time socializing online and focus most of your energy there. 2. Feel out the Competition. You need to know who is in your virtual neighborhood. Research your competition so you know what to say when a potential customer has questions about your differences and why they should choose your product over theirs. Always remain respectful and never bad mouth anyone - you represent your company and word can spread which can ultimately tarnish your brand. 3. Dont Be Pushy. No one likes a sales shark. Social media is a fun place where people like to relax and, well, socialize, so the last thing they want is to be hounded by a stranger online. Tone is everything when it comes to creating value for your product so keep that in mind as you post about it and interact with people. Be pleasant and dont butt into conversations.
