Do you have a toddler in your life? Wondering what books to read with them? Choose board books that are repetitive. By having the same sentence on each page, your child is able to anticipate what is going to happen and can fill in the missing words. Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see? by Bill Martin and Eric Carle is a great choice. To expand on the activity, you can go around the house, looking for your childs favorite objects, singing/saying, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see. I see milk looking at me. Follow your childs lead and let them determine what objects go in the song. What do they look toward? What object makes them smile?
