Do you have advice for this parent? Could you help me, please? My 3 yo DS frequently makes a spitting sound at us, usually when he is bored, frustrated, or does not like the answer he just received. He also does it to get his 7 yo sisters attention. This aggravates her to no end. Telling her to ignore him doesnt work. I have tried to get him to occupy his lips w/ something constructive like singing or kissing me. He wont. Yesterday, he did it in line at the fabric counter and none of us could step far enough away from him to avoid it, nor would he stop. Please, please help w/ any and all positive, gentle ideas! Thank you!
