Do you have suggestions for this parent? My daughter is 21 months old and we have Baby #2 due this coming summer. Im not sure how to go about talking to my daughter about it... how much or how little info to include. I have a pregnancy journal that we look at and she loves seeing pictures of me pregnant with her and I do tell her that she was growing in my belly before she was born. Any guidance on when and how much detail or what to say when talking about Baby #2? Also, any guidance from those who had their young child(ren) there during the birth. My daughter is very aware and tends to lean more on the sensitive side of things (as am I) At this point Im planning on bringing her to all the prenatal appointments and well probably have to have her there for the birth. (My hubby is excited about this, I am 50/50 ha ha!). We do not have tons of family nearby or support where someone could be with her. Her birth was quick (under 4 hrs from start to finish), so in case this birth is the same we wont have much time to get organized and get her settled somewhere apart from us. Thank you!!
