Do you know what separates The Greatest Generation from us? Is it fear? No, ask one of them, they were scared shitless just like we are. Was it hate? No, they went to war out of love and pride. So what is it? I think it was determination. They were determined in a way that America has forgotten how to be. They drew a red line and begged someone to cross it. They said "Oh like hell you will!" and meant it.... this is why they, at 70+ years old still storm beaches (or war memorials, as it may be). So, when will we find our determination? Lets find it together.....
