Do you know why so.many people these days have stopped going to church??? Take a good look...u dont need to look that closely...heck even a monkey would understand. Most( not all i know 1 church that does not resemble this) churches are all about appearances...they are full.of cliques- no thank you ...i hated jr high and still refuse to be a part of your little close minded groups! They wreak of old tradotions- no thank you...even Jesus himself was angered by.this! They did all the same things as soldiers did to Jesus...they mock, jeer, and talk about you as they walk you to your crucifixtion. No thanks! The ladies who smile to your face will tear you to shreds when your not looking as they lie in their own bed of stinking sin! While the deacons and elders gather together after church to go for a bite to eat...u can be sure the single mom or the addict in all his mess wont be invited. And when all you wanted was someone to hold.your hand while you.were trying to make sense of it all...no one reached out to you. Jesus hung out with the leapors who were tossed away like dirt in the wind. He walked into the homes of the hated! He chose to love those who others may as well kicked and threw away like stinking trash. I once asked a pastor why he ignored me as i cried out for love during one of the most difficult times in my life. Do you know what.he said? His reply.was that.he.didnt know. I ask you this:if you are a "man of God"...u might not have all the answers....but wouldnt you know one basic thing.Jesus tried to teach? What stopped you from simple human compassion? What.stopped you from loving someone in their time of.need? It takes no special training or schooling to show.the.love of Christ. As a matter of fact: you.dont even have had to walk in the same shoes. All you ever needed was to show the love.of Christ. Sometimes were looking for all the right answers....when its much.simpler than we think! This isnt a multiple choice test...there are no right answers. If you.continue to stay in a small box you wont have much room for others. I prefer to hug the necks of addicts, bums, thieves, and crooks. Who am I? Im a sinner like you. Im love.turning.the.next.corner . Im pain as I sit alone ...a single mom trying to keep her son from drowning in the miry pit. Im your neighbor, the woman you see at.the.grocery store. I look like you ...but.inside im dying everyday as I try to fight this ongoing battle. Church??!! For today I choose to have church with the sinners! What is the purpose of church if not to help someone know Christ? What was the.purpose of Jesus dying for us...he didnt die.for us because we.were like him! Do you get it now?? Church? Not today...ive got real.work to.do!!
