Do you love religion or Relationship with God? Religion is nothing between man and god without relationship with Jesus Christ! This is mans worship of self. It is all about power and self love. Where there is truth, there will always be lying too. Only when we rid ourselves of ourselves and learn to crawl again to our father can we truly know the true essence of worship. I have learned to seek to love all and basically trust none...including myself. Men and women...the bad ones in faith and the good ones...are but human fallen creatures...like me...who know far less than I pretend. Really, in a profound manner, there is no difference between Mao and these types of people who claim faith. I watched and read the life story of Mao. In his early years, he was sincere and driven by concern for his people. Yet, when power became absolute, he became absolutely powerfully filled with hate and revenge and self love, and he led his people to starvation. There is no difference in people really. We are all tainted by the same poisoned fruit that led our father Adam and mother Eve to betray their maker and to blame each other or another and to never look their own way and admit to their own dastardly deeds. I am learning to forgive all, seek to show respect...Trust no one fully with our lives except the one who gave his life for me, Jesus Christ, the Author and the Finisher of faith! From the lowly country pastor to the Pope himself...the Pope even more so, in fact. My hope is based on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness...so...what else and what more do I need than that? My place in this world is not measured by my status in job or financial position. It is that I am accepted in Gods presence and stand in the Holy Place because and only because the blood of the Holy one sent by God that covers my sinfulness! There is nothing else that really matters except what one does with the truth that we are lost and at enmity with God and that ONLY the blood of Jesus Christ can give us peace with God. If that is rejected, eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we die! I have worked, fought, slaved and pushed others to do the same, but it is not the toil but the truth of the only way, the only truth and the only life of Christ and his death and resurrection that matters in the end. On that point, Hitler, Mao and all the tyrants who have lived and died now agree completely that we shall stand before God and give an accurate accounting of who we are, what we did and why we hurt others around us. No matter how good or bad we were…only the Blood of Jesus Christ will spare us from an eternity out of the presence from God. In my memoirs I wrote of a man on Facebook who once wrote me and told me, Bradley, you are nothing! I was of course upset at first but finally wrote back, Thank you for pointing out that I am nothing. I have been working hard for years to become nothing, because being something always led me to a selfish place that hurt others and brought me failure. I hope i become increasingly nothing so in Christ I am someone for him. STILL WORKING ON THAT DAILY!
