Do you remember a special breakfast that we created here that you just “must” make at home? We have shared many recipes over the years; but if you’re like me---you want to eat it; not particularly make it. Are you a guest that has shared your special recipes with us? Many thanks. Remember the pumpkin recipe, Helen, that you shared and we still use today? Betty, Frank’s sister, was our first creator, then she taught me, followed by a culinary institute graduate from Connecticut who took over the kitchen. Happy day for us and you! He took over the full second “B” (Breakfast) in our name. He actually started as a guest and moved himself and family here to be near relatives. Thanks to Chef Grant, we definitely stepped up a notch and we were able to go on a vacation. We warn our guests that they may well be working before they leave! After several years, Grant wanted to move his family north so they could experience the change of seasons as he had when growing up; so Chef Marc entered our scene. Another great family man; we’ve watched all of their children grow up as the years progressed. Chef Marc is certainly a creator---even can produce ice carvings; but in Florida, the ice would melt before he could get his buzz saw started. Another culinary man, Chef Marc, as well as Chef Grant produced these memorable breakfast creations with ease. Filling in on their days off is Chef Denis, from France, who with his accent and skills keeps those in between days running smoothly. After breakfast and preparing for the next day’s menu, he goes to his full-time work at the Bradenton Country Club. Hats off to them ALL!
