Do you remember when you bought your first favorite CD? Do you - TopicsExpress

Do you remember when you bought your first favorite CD? Do you remember pulling out the lyric book following that first song looking and the CD and feeling like you were inside of it? It may not have been that way for everyone but for me it really was as personal as you can get with the artists. I read something the other day and realized why I lost my passion for new music. I stopped buying albums. A man from one of my favorite bands pointed out that these days you can download music and listen to it and its at your finder tips, but if you look back and think when you bought your favorite album it never gets as personal as that. I think people need to realize how hard music artist work to write, record, put out the music, perform live, everything that comes with it.... Is it really to much to ask for to buy a CD that the band/artist spend thousands of dollars of.thier own money to make? I am going to try and support my favorite bands and buy more music when I have money. Local music, mainstream music, underground music, its all worthy of supporting in some way. These people work their asses off.... If you dont like that band or this band I understand but support the ones you do like they deserve that extra ten bucks when you buy a shirt or CD or hoodie or whatever. Support the age of music and buy a CD!!!! Back the bands that sweat for you and bleed for you to enjoy what they live for!!!!!! Support music!!!!
