Do you wave at people in your neighborhood? I realize that this isnt exclusive to the country folks, but here in the country, we do wave a lot. I sit on the porch a LOT when the weather is nice. We southern folks tend to do that. And when cars drive by, down our old country road, I always wave to the folks passing by. But ive noticed these days, a lot of the younger folks (and even some of the older) just dont bother waving back. Half the time, they arent even paying attention. I guess I just feel like its one of those old time things that is going by the wayside. And that kinda makes me sad to see so many old ways disappearing away.
