Do you worry when you turn out your horse with a new buddy for the first time? What do you do to prep everyone? Heidis horse, Q, got a new buddy this weekend. We joke that this is the field of two grullas. Their color sure is similar, but the ears are a bit different. They had been greeting each other over the fence and stall doors for three days before their intro. The little donkey, Eddie, was a little feisty at first, but this was the only sign of interaction then they grazed side by side for an hour.
