Do your daily mobility and activation work. The few mins spent each day pays dividends in the long run in the form of injury prevention and durability. In the evening I like to use my foam roller, but, I landed badly at gymnastics a few weeks ago, taking a nice spill off beam & shredding my ankle. So Ive turned all attention in the evening to doing re-activation and mobilization work for that. This vid is just some of my foot work programming Ive developed for bringing my ankle back on line. It takes weeks of dedicated work on an injured part of your body to bring it back up, and Im taking no chances since ankles that have been injured are more likely to be injured again in the future. This is bc the brain literally has to re-learn how to stabilize the entire joint. I dont want time away from my sport so Im doing the boring but important foundation work to bring it back. Do your daily work and real big long-term benefits. :)
