Doctors have determined that moms body is too weak to handle the invasive surgery. The amount of time it would take to heal is too much time off of chemo. They will insert a permanent drain into her lungs in order to resume chemo treatment in Chattanooga. If the chemo works, then they will map out a plan for continued treatment. If the chemo options do not work, Billy and mom will map out a plan for getting her back to Tupelo for home hospice. Thank you for your continued prayers for mom.
