Doctors know what kind of infection Aurora has. Dont ask me to say it...couldnt spell it if i tried. But basically, once the infection is out of her blood, she will either be sent home with me or sent to another hospital closer to home. We dont know how long it will take the infection to leave her blood. They take blood every day and check it. Its pretty much a waiting game at this point. Her ankle is healing slowly. Doctors arent doing more surgery on it at this point. So thats good news! For the most part Aurora is doing well, but the doctors arent happy with how slowly she is healing. So they may run some more tests tomorrow to see is anything else is going on. I think its bc I cant get this girl to eat. Justin and I basically made her eat today. Hes on his way home, to work, so its me and Aurora until this thing is over. Thank you all for your prayers and kind words. As long as her body allows the meds to work we are on the right track!
