Knowing that saints will be unassailable if they dwell in Truth and manifest the Kingdom Church according to the divine pattern granted to Paul by election, Satan has worked over time to shake confidence of leaders and saints in the Word. He has used a variety of humanistic logic. One is the tendency to confuse saints through various agenda driven translations of the Bible that leave off vital truths. Another is the debasement of the sanctity of the Holy Scriptures through placing more emphasis on commentaries and imposing human names on the various translations in a way that suggests their authorship! As more people do this as a mark of prestige and arrival as world theologians, they unwittingly erode the confidence of saints in the Word when their own imperfect lives unravel through their lifestyles or ministry excesses. As the dangerous game of branding bibles after human benefactors and ministries continues to explode, the danger is that many new believers and unstable saints find their confidence in the simple, pure word eroded. tbc
