Dodd Chair Lecture: Zoe Strauss TONIGHT! September 2nd - Room S151 - Lamar Dodd School of Art - 5:30pm Zoe Strauss, born in 1970, is an photographer and installation artist living and working in her hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She began photography in 2000 and recently completed “Under I-95,” a ten year long project that resulted in an photography installation of those photographed under a section of Interstate 95 in Philadelphia, PA. She has exhibited her work in the 2006 Whitney Biennial and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Strauss has been recognized for her many accomplishments, including a Pew Fellowship, the George Gund Foundation Fellowship, and a Leeway Foundation Seedling Award, among others. Strauss will be residing as the Lamar Dodd Chair during the 2014-2015 school year at the Lamar Dodd School of Art.
