Does anyone experience this and does anyone have any thoughts on this line of thinking? I remember my mother keeping in touch and than occasionally she would hear a talk about not talking to ones that are not witnesses etc and she would feel guilt and call me and say I am sorry, I cant talk to you anymore. Not till you come back to Jehovah. and she would be gone for a month or so than out of the blue she would call. she did this for years and let me tell you its nerve wrecking. she would rip my heart out and than come back to rip it out again. They have no clue what they do. I finally just stopped caring. its truly sadistic abuse and they are clueless. Like cher says, fanaticals are the worse cause they truly believe they are doing right. Now that she is in her 80s she wants me to call and if I dont than I dont love her and she feels so lonely.very depressed..yet it was okay for her to neglect me in the name of religion. My older brother was disfellowshipped and so she wont talk to him unless its important. but than she calls me to tell me how he doesnt love her or he would go back to church. Since when do you have to belong to a church to love your mother? Is it not possible to love someone who doesnt believe as you do in their eyes. and does she really want my brother to be a JW just so he can talk to her.. I am seeing all so clearly more and more...
