Does anyone know a talented seamstress/fashion designer/costume or otherwise who can fix/remake/design and sew a ball gown ish type situation in the span of two weeks? Preferably bay area? Thank you!!! Having a mini costume emergency (almost by definition not a real emergency, which Im acknowledging here). Just received a very important dress for a very important event at Burning Man ... and it is a total disaster. This sort of thing would be much more fun were I on a reality show (for example) and there was some laughter/dramatic tension (will she fix the dress in time?! How could anything possibly be THAT ugly!?) that could be milked out of the situation. In real reality, its rather disappointing and just sort of a pain in the ass. Note to self: do not order important gowns - even important costume gowns - from Ebay in China. ;-)
