Does anyone know anything about Chewing Lice on dogs? My Bella (Shih tzu) has been licking and chewing on her legs and feet and caused her white fur to turn brown. I thought it was just ant bites but this has been going on for a while. She is miserable. I read something on it but not sure if you can see them. I dont see anything crawling around on her, no fleas. All I see is this tiny little black speck every now and then. I also saw the same thing on my Bentley he is blonde colored..i bathed them all with a shampoo from Walmart that said kills fleas and chewing lice. My poor Bella use to have a beautiful coat but now all brown on legs and mouth and on forehead.
