Does anyone know anything about Prep at Rundlett Middle School? I always thought it was a block that all students had and it was helpful for kids who had services like speech and other services because they would get them during prep no missing any classroom instruction. He has had prep the past two years with a special educator incase he needed help to stay on track. Sam told me because he has prep he doesnt have Math lab (he is taking Pre-algebra and math lab isnt graded). Also he says it is not just a study hall but that they receiving specialized instruction. It is sounding more like a resource room. Something I didnt approve. Also shouldnt it at least be a related service and maybe even a partial placement? Anyone that knows any thing about Rms know if he is missing math lab? We have an IEP meeting tomorrow for him and I am trying to prepare. Also if my understanding is correct I want to be prepared to to discuss it at Abbys IEP before middle school.
