Does anyone remember the time when Into The Woods ran in Singapore, at Kallang Theatre? Lea Salonga played the witch. It was 20 years ago. The movie adaptation breathes new life into this musical. CGI allows visuals never before possible; but at its core, the story, about how different fairy tales collide head on, with a not-so-happily ever after, shines through and gives us some things to ponder and think about.
